Amongst a cast of relative unknowns horror fans may recognise some faces, but your average film-goer won't , Henry Rollins obviously stands out, as the ex-soldier turned show host who uses his military experience to turn the tables on his attackers. Despite the addition of my hero, Henry Rollins, this thing can't save itself from itself. Truly, this movie outdid the first. It has to do with people and chemicals poured into the river causing birth defects duh obviously. The storyline was really quite dumb and the scare factor for me anyways was really low. It's a nice move that works well. Wrong Turn 1 was great, but the strength of the original sequel can determine how long the series lasts.
So when my boyfriend and I were looking for a film to watch, we came across Wrong Turn 2: Dead End at the video store, I was like oh, no, another crummy sequel to destroy a fine film. I even like once or twice are like good as movie! Despite all that, it's gets a thumbs up from me for the no-holds-barred gore and terror. I thought by reading some reviews that it was going to be as good if not better than the first one, but boy was I wrong! The cover art and liner notes are included. But yes, it's still pretty creepy on occasion. Not that story actually matters here one little bit.

I was very impressed with how cool this sequel was and I highly recommend this movie for any horror fan, it's a fun one to watch. Wrong Turn 2: Dead End is a fun and gory sequel that offers lots of blood and entertainment.
Special props go out to American Idol star Kimberly Caldwell for providing some laughs and one stunningly memorable moment , the mega-sexy Crystal Lowe and her pair of ahem stunners , and the rock-solid madman known as Henry Rollins. They are still a family unit and it does show how they came to be the way they are. A bunch of young adults who stumble across some vicious mutant cannibals in the woods of West Virginia -- Wrong Turn 2: Dead End provides a really amusing way for our latest victims to end up in trouble: They're the contestants on a Survivor-style reality series -- and let's just say the program's location scouts were rrrrreally stupid. The remaining difference occurred due to rounding. There was a plethora of blood and guts and even some tense moments. I loved it more than enough action, killing and blood to last and satisfy even the most hungry horror buff. While there are some stories that had no point to them, Wrong Turn 2: Dead End still has an awesome story over all.
Oh, and it contains probably the most unintentionally stupid tagged on twist ending I think I may have ever seen. What kind of agent are you? But other than that i found myself rather enjoying Wrong Turn 2. From the opening kill this is going to be a fast-paced and energetic hack-'em-up, one that's not even remotely afraid of doling out big buckets of gooey gore. It's just too bad you'll have to enjoy Rollins' enthusiastic ass-kickery with a small audience in your own living room instead of with the raucously receptive crowd like the one at Fantastic Fest. My Grade: A- Eye Candy: Crystal Lowe gets topless. But give a shot and forget that you dont know what happened to the folks in the first one. The one bye one kills of a mountain-people little bit if Deliverance.
This film was an excellent sequel. All the actors are cliche actors and everything you see has been done before. I'd see it in the movies as a double feature of 1 and 2. Also some storyline sequences have been cut in order to be able to squeeze more commercials in between.
I recommend this for those with strong stomachs. Wow, this movie surprised me. . Also, its quite entertaining how the genre tries to outbid the last movie with even more cruel gore than the last one. The deaths were absolutely cool to see, I know that sounds bad, but I just love a good horror film with the great death scenes.
